Woman charged after man’s body found east of Brisbane

A woman has been charged with murder after a man’s body was discovered in a gully at Capalaba, south-east of Brisbane, yesterday.

Police charged the 32-year-old woman this afternoon, following the discovery of the 51-year-old Carina man’s body in a ditch on Degen Road yesterday afternoon.

Police established a crime scene yesterday and continued to investigate the scene today.

The Capalaba woman was charged with one count of murder and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Investigators believe that a third party was not involved in the murder.
