Man bashed in Sydney road rage attack

A man has suffered a dislocated shoulder and lacerations after he was set upon in a road rage incident in Sydney's west.

The man, aged in his 20s, was allegedly attacked at Winston Hills around 11pm yesterday.

It’s understood the man, who was driving a BMW, and another man aged in his 30s driving a Holden Barina got into a verbal stoush at the intersection of Caroline Chisholm Drive and Hilary Street.

It’s alleged the pair got out of their cars before the driver of the Holden set upon the second man.

The victim’s shoulder was dislocated in the fight and he sustained serious lacerations on his face.

He drove himself to hospital after speaking with police.

The driver of the Holden is cooperating with police but no arrests have been made.
