Man banned from driving until 2062 caught behind the wheel
A man who had been banned from driving until 2062 has allegedly been caught behind the wheel of a car after he was involved in crash in Sydney's west yesterday.
Emergency services were called to a crash between a Ford and Mercedes at the intersection of the Great Western Highway and Huntingwood Drive in Huntingwood.
The driver of the Ford – a 52-year-old man – and the driver of the Mercedes – a 37-year-old man – were assessed at the scene by paramedics but were unharmed.

Following enquiries, police discovered that the older man had previously been disqualified from driving until 2062.
He was arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with a number of offences.
He was refused bail and remains behind bars until appearing in court later today.
