Man mauled by two dogs in Adelaide Parklands

A man is being treated in hospital after two dogs attacked him in the Adelaide Parklands this afternoon.

Paramedics rushed to James Congdon Drive around 4pm where they found the man suffering cuts to his face and bites to his arms.

Police were able to track the dogs through nearby streets to the yard of a home at Mile End.

Police then called for the assistance of dog catchers from the West Torrens Council, with three inspectors needed to capture the animals.

9News has been told the dogs were not from the property where they were seized from.

An investigation is now underway to find the owner of the animals and determine whether they are at fault for allowing their pets to wander.

The victim was taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
