Man charged over alleged sexual assault of teenage girl in Sydney park
A man has been charged with child sex offences after a teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in Sydney's south.
The 14-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted in a park in Penshurst on Monday.
The girl contacted police, who arrested a 46-year-old man from a nearby home at 5pm the same day.

Investigators say the man was not known to the girl.
The man has been charged with five offences, including producing child abuse material, aggravated sexual intercourse with a child more than 14 years and under 16 years old, and using a child over 14 years old to make child abuse material.
He was formally refused bail at Sutherland Local Court today and will next appear at Downing Centre Local Court on October 26.
