Man arrested in NSW for Qld murder attempt

A man has been arrested in northern NSW over an attempted murder in Queensland.
Police say they found the 24-year-old man in Moree and he will face extradition.
It's alleged he stabbed a man in the chest with a knife in Toowoomba last Thursday.

The victim, 25, is in the Princess Alexandra hospital in Brisbane in a serious condition.
