Man arrested during TODAY Show reporter’s live cross

A live cross with TODAY reporter Aislin Kriukelis outside Queensland Police Headquarters this morning was interrupted by a dramatic arrest.

Kriukelis was midway through the cross when a man entered the building and began causing a disturbance.

Police then dragged him away from the scene, right into the live television shot.

Spotting the camera, he attempted to scream a message to viewers before being dragged away by officers.

The man has been charged with public nuisance and obstructing police.
