Police have revealed two firearms were found in the car of a man arrested after ramming an officer’s vehicle in Melbourne’s CBD.

Officers used a Taser to arrest the driver, who has since been taken to hospital for assessment.

During initial investigations, two firearms were located inside the man’s car, a spokeswoman from Victoria Police told 9news.com.au.

The incident was not terror related, and no-one else was injured, the spokeswoman added.

Charges are yet to be laid.
