Man admits to raping women on Elwood walking track

A man has pleaded guilty to raping two women on a popular walking track in Melbourne's south eight years ago.
Justin Mathieson, 31, admitted to raping the women in separate attacks at Elwood in February and October 2012, in Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
Mathieson was arrested earlier this year after being identified as the suspect.

The Albanvale man also pleaded guilty to indecent assault and threatening to inflict serious injury.
The diagnosed schizophrenic has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear in Victoria's County Court in April for a plea hearing.
