Male dies after being hit by train in Vic

A pedestrian has been hit and killed by a train in Melbourne.
The male, believed to be aged in his late teens, appears to have tripped and fallen while trying to cross the tracks about 300 metres from Keon Park Railway Station in Melbourne's north, police said.
He was struck by the city-bound train and died at the scene about 6.15am (AEDT).

Passengers have been evacuated from the train, and delays are expected.
