A severe motorcycle crash caused significant traffic delays on the Bruce Highway north of Brisbane this morning, leaving inbound commuters facing a 90-minute delay.
Inbound traffic along the major M1 road corridor was backed up to Burpengary after the crash just before 7am at Griffin.
Two south-bound lanes were closed about 500m south of Dohles Rock Road, with police on-scene controlling traffic.

One of the commuters in the bumper to bumper traffic reported only travelling 3km in an hour this morning.
"Once you got on the highway it was free moving, But it was pretty hectic. People were turning in places they shouldn't which wasn't helping at all," she told 9News.
9News understands the crash was between a motorcycle and a truck.
Emergency services, including paramedics, High Acuity Response and Critical care teams took a man in his 40s to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
He is in stable condition with leg and shoulder injuries.
