Alleged drink-driver crashes into hotel wall in Adelaide
An alleged drink-driver has had a close escape after crashing into a brick wall outside a hotel in Adelaide's east overnight.
Police said the Mazda hatchback was first spotted by officers travelling "at speed", east on Kensington Road in Magill.
The officers made a U-turn to pursue the Mazda but found it crashed into a hotel wall and outdoor furniture at the intersection of St Bernards Road and Magill Road.

The driver, a 24-year-old man from Magill, was not injured.
He was arrested and submitted to a breath test, where he provided a reading of 0.145.
He has been charged with aggravated due care, drink driving.
He has been issued a six-month instant loss of licence.
The 24-year-old has been bailed to the Adelaide Magistrates Court on August 21.
