Lunch with Amal Clooney at $2,220 a ticket

George Clooney's wife Amal Clooney will speak at an exclusive lunch Down Under to talk about equality - at $2,200 a pop.

At that price, the British human rights lawyer is charging almost as much as pop superstar Justin Bieber who charged fans $US2,000 ($A2,685.10) for a selfie during meet and greets on his Purpose tour earlier this year.

Amal is presenting at the Women World Changers summit in Melbourne and Sydney in October, an event aimed at focusing on the importance of diversity and equality in the workplace.

Attendees will have the chance to meet Amal and have a photo taken with her at the VIP lunch, for $2,200 a ticket or $22,000 for a table of 10.

"Don't miss this amazing opportunity to meet Amal Clooney and have your individual photograph taken with her," the flyer says.

There are only 100 VIP tickets available for the event, which promises a "line-up of speakers never seen before on one stage".

The summit takes place at The Peninsula in Melbourne on October 10 and at The Star in Sydney on October 12.
