Pedestrian hit by car in Logan
A young woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car in Logan this morning.
The 25-year-old attempted to cross Albert Street in Waterford West when she was hit by a passing vehicle.
The woman was thrown several metres down the road and the vehicle sustained significant damage.

The driver of the vehicle contacted emergency services and the woman was transported to Princess Alexandria Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
Forensic investigators have closed off a large section of the road and will remain on the scene for at least another hour.
Traffic around Kingston Road and Albert Street is currently backed up to 10 kilometres and drivers are urged to avoid the area.
