Man in custody after emergency situation declared in Logan
A man has been taken into custody after an emergency declaration was made early this morning in Logan, Queensland
Shortly after 8:30am officers walked a shirtless man out of a property on Chambers Flat Road in Logan Reserve in handcuffs.
It comes after locals were warned to stay indoors and drivers told to avoid the area as tactical officers negotiated with a man they suspected was armed but alone.

It's understood officers have been negotiating with the man since midnight, after being called to the area in relation to a "disturbance". Supplied
An exclusion zone was set out around the area, encompassing Chambers Flat Road, School Road and Logan Reserve Road.
Drones were seen flying overhead as police attempted to get a clear picture of the circumstances and negotiate with the suspect.

"In the last few minutes, you have seen it here first, those tactical officers walking out a shirtless man," Today reporter Andrea Crothers said.
"He was then handcuffed and sat him downed and paramedics are assessing him and still being spoken to by detectives."
It's understood officers have been negotiating with the man since midnight, after being called to the area in relation to a "disturbance".
