9NEWS
Fire crews have contained a large fire at a building in Sydney's west this afternoon, with smoke seen billowing into the sky over Liverpool.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called to the blaze on Macquarie Street at around 2.30pm (AEDT), with the fire soon spreading into the shared roof space of three other shops.
About 100 firefighters battled the blaze, which was sending thick, acrid smoke into the sky. The fire caused part of the building to collapse.
