Five arrested after police operation in Sydney
Five people have been arrested after reports of a gunshot in Sydney's south-west.
Police were called to Charles Street in Liverpool shortly after 2am overnight, after reports a shot had been heard.
They surrounded a block of units and called in specialist officers, including negotiators.

A woman was arrested at about 2.15am when she left the building.
The operation ended at about 5.40am when two other women and two men were arrested.
There have been no reports of injury.

Police are set to execute a crime scene warrant at the scene.
