Liberal Democrats to fight for lower house

The Liberal Democrats will field more than 30 candidates for lower house seats and want the major parties to talk preferences.

The 33 contenders, many in marginal electorates, are in addition to Senate candidates in each state and the ACT.

"We are yet to determine the order of preferences - the major parties should get in touch," Senator David Leyonhjelm told AAP on Wednesday.
