Let foreigners do jobs Aussies snub: Joyce

Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce doesn't have a problem with foreign workers taking Australian jobs because he says some eventually become citizens.

Mr Joyce argues foreigners on 457 visas happily put their hand up for jobs that Australians don't want to do, such as abattoir work.

He told reporters in Canberra on Thursday that some foreigners become effective members of the community, like in his city Tamworth, where many have become Aussie nationals.
