Teenage learner driver attacked in Adelaide
A 19-year-old driver was allegedly assaulted with a weapon when he pulled over during a suspected road rage attack in Adelaide that also led to his mother being punched.
The learner driver pulled over to let his mum take the wheel after allegedly being tailgated by two men in a white Toyota HiAce while driving with a friend on the North-South Motorway near the Bolivar exit yesterday.
His father told 9News the traumatised teen had three staples put in his head after being struck with a weapon and his mother was allegedly punched in the face through the passenger window.

The teen was taken to hospital while his passengers were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The alleged attackers, a 23-year-old man and a 49-year-old man, were arrested at a Mitchell Park house and have been charged with affray and three counts of aggravated assault.
They were released on bail today.
The duo will next appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court next month.
