Large fire breaks out at Sydney Olympic Park

Around 80 firefighters are at the scene of a large fire at Sydney Olympic Park.

NSW Fire & Rescue said the enormous blaze has since been contained, but crews remain at the scene to monitor smoke.

The fire broke out at the Monster Skate Park, with a number of people evacuated from the area near the corner of Olympic Boulevard and Grand Parade.

It’s unclear how the blaze began.
