Labor urges action on China organ harvest

Federal Labor is urging the Turnbull government to take action against China's harvesting of organs from prisoners.
A motion moved by Melissa Parke in parliament on Monday calls on the government to urge China to end the practice and take measures to stop the trafficking of human organs.
Liberal MP Craig Kelly said Australia's own organ donation rates were far below what they should be, insisting Australia needed to get its own house in order before lecturing China.
