Labor has 'used and abused' Natsem: PM

Prime Minister Tony Abbott has accused Labor of "using and abusing" an analysis that the opposition commissioned about the impact budget measures will have on low-income families.

Mr Abbott on Tuesday told parliament an interim report from the National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling did not only exclude the benefits of the budget, it didn't even model this year's budget.

"It has been used and abused by members opposite," he said.
