Koala crashes water aerobics class

A koala has dropped in on a water aerobics class in Victoria’s west.

Video captured by Jaymee-Lea Hope shows the marsupial by the swimming pool’s edge in Timboon about 7.50pm yesterday.

“He had the option for fresh water, but chose to visit the humans in the pool instead,” Ms Hope, who was completing the class at the time, told 9NEWS.

Another shot showed swimmers with their hands in the air, as the koala continued to enjoy its time by the pool, seemingly oblivious to the excitement it had caused.

Timboon is a town located about 200km south-west of Melbourne.
