Knife-wielding man holds up Ipswich convenience store

Police are searching for a man who used a knife to rob a convenience store in the Ipswich suburb of Booval last night.
The man walked into the Brisbane Road shop about 6.40pm and took a drink from the fridge before approaching the counter and demanding money from the male worker, police said.
When the worker did not immediately meet his demands, the man produced a knife.
He then fled the scene with cash and was last seen walking down a nearby alleyway towards a carpark.
He is described as Caucasian, thin, and about 173cm tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hooded top and black shorts and was carrying a backpack.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
