Kmart unveils three new 'K Hub' stores as Target conversion gets underway
Kmart has unveiled three concept "K Hub" stores as the retail giant looks to transform the successes of struggling Target outlets.
Announcing the concept on Linkedin, Kmart said former Target Country stores in Cobram, Echuca and Seymour have officially reopened as "K Hub" stores.
K Hub stores will stock the most popular product lines for children, homewares and clothing as well as the ability to pick up anything bought from Target online.

Additionally, consumers will be able to pick up anything bought online via the Catch Group.
"Our K Hub stores may look a little different to what you'd expect from a normal Kmart store," Kmart Australia said.
"They have our most popular Kmart products across kids, home and clothing, but they've been brought to life in a new way - a collection inspired for a smaller neighbourhood store, with bigger convenience in mind."

In May parent company Wesfarmers announced that 92 Target stores will be converted to Kmart stores, affecting as many as 100 staff members across the country.
Most will retain their jobs under the new K Hub brand.
"Of course, it wouldn't be a great store opening without a superstar team and for these stores, our customers were welcomed in by some familiar faces. All of the previous Target store team members were offered the opportunity to join our growing Kmart family," said Kmart Australia.
"We are so excited to bring these new concept stores to life and welcome even more team members into the Kmart family."
