KFC releases chicken prom corsage
Fried chicken lovers and romantics rejoice — KFC has released a limited edition chicken corsage in what seems like a belated April Fool's Day prank.
The corsage is designed for high school proms and is being sold by Kentucky-based florist Nanz & Kraft in conjunction with the fast food chain.
The tasty treat that doubles as a stylish accessory will make your date’s eyes light up as her mouth waters, according to the marketeers.
A tongue-in-cheek ad for the corsage posted on KFC's website shows an awkward-looking teen present the chicken treat to his weary date.
She is apprehensive at first but soon warms to the cheesy offering, taking a bite as the couple slow dance.
The corsage sells for $20 and is available in Original Recipe, Extra Crispy or Kentucky Grilled Chicken.
