* Agree on revised set of national competition policy principles (six months).
* Remove remaining restrictions on retail trading hours (two years).
* Consider competition in planning and zoning rules (two years).
* Remove pharmacy ownership and location rules (two years).
* Remove restrictions on second hand cars and books (three years transition)
* Introduce road pricing linked to road construction, maintenance and safety (12 months).
* Remove regulations that restrict numbers of taxi licences and competition in the taxi industry (12 months).
* Productivity Commission review of intellectual property (18 months).
* Promote competition within government procurement and review policies governing commercial arrangements (12 months).
* Finalise energy reform (two years) and review competition in gas market (six months).
* Replace National Competition Council with a new national competition body, the Australian Council for Competition Policy (six months).
