Kerr denies Packer romance

Miranda Kerr has denied claims her and billionaire James Packer were ever a romantic item.

Kerr, 31, told Sunday Style magazine she was not in a relationship with anyone and 46-year-old Packer and her are just friends.

"He's been a friend for many years," Kerr said.

"I'm not looking for anything too serious or to be in a relationship. I'm not ready. I'd rather just go on a date here or there."

Kerr also claimed a documentary that aired on the ABC earlier in the year featuring her parents and grandparents and depicted her "fractured family" was a product of "media spin".

"I'm sure that was spun out of control, you know what I mean? I feel sorry my parents because they got sucked into a situation and things get edited."
