Man dies after fireworks incident in Melbourne's outer suburbs

A 19-year-old man has been killed in an incident involving fireworks in Melbourne's outer suburbs overnight.

Emergency services discovered the man suffering critical injuries after they were called to the scene on Pittsburgh Road and Cloverton Boulevard in Kalkallo about 9.10pm.

The Whittlesea man died at the scene.
