Joyce claims Twitter limelight in debate

As the three leaders shouted each other down in Wednesday night's debate the deputy prime minister was being heard loud and clear on Twitter.

During the Regional Leaders' Debate Barnaby Joyce was the most discussed on the social network, according to Twitter statistics.

But Greens leader Richard Di Natale grabbed more than twice the amount of chatter than Labor's Joel Fitzgibbon.
