NRL star Johnathan Thurston has married his long-term partner in a secret ceremony on Hamilton Island.
The premiership-winning North Queensland Cowboys playmaker wed Samantha Lynch in front of their parents earlier this week.
Alongside them were their two daughters Frankie and Charlie.
The couple let the secret out in an Instagram post yesterday.
"We'd been hoping to keep this quiet until all of our nearest and dearest received official notification in the mail however the news is out there now so here it is," Lynch wrote on Instagram.
"We were married on the stunning Whitehaven Beach in front of our parents and our daughters."
The couple became engaged during a trip to the United States in 2012.
