Search called off for man missing in Perth Hills
Residents of a town in the Perth Hills have been urged to remain on the lookout even after authorities called off a six-day search for a missing man.
Hundreds of State Emergency Service volunteers, police and members of the public combed roads, bushland and backyards in the Mundaring area in the past week on the hunt for John Frylinck, 70.
His wife told 9News she was grateful for the help and still holding out hope for good news.

The man, who was living with diabetes and dementia, went missing on a walk with his wife.
He was last seen at the Mundaring Sculpture Park on Jacoby Street about 8.15pm on Thursday, wearing green boxer shorts with Christmas patterns, a multi-striped shirt and sandals.
Police suggested he might have become confused and forgotten where he was and how to get home.
They called on residents to keep checking their gardens and outbuildings for any signs the missing man had been there.

"The search for missing 70-year-old John Frylinck has been suspended, pending any new information that is received," police said.
"An extensive area has been searched over the last six days, however Mr Frylinck has not been located."
