Jennifer Lawrence falls over again

Jennifer Lawrence has tumbled over on the Academy Awards red carpet.

The Oscar winner was filmed laughing after being helped to her feet following the spill, which took place soon after she arrived at the Dolby Theatre.

The actress was mugging for the cameras when she slipped on a witches hat, grabbing onto the shoulders of another guest as other rushed to help her.

Lawrence is a favourite for the Best Supporting Actress gong today for her role in American Hustle.

She was wearing a strapless red Christian Dior dress when she fell over just minutes ago.

"This year I did a stair test out on the back staircase and got (the dress) a little dusty, but it worked," she said.

"But I did trip over a cone, so I guess I'm not safe."

The clumsy actress also came a cropper when she walked up the stairs after being named the winner of Best Actress at last year's Academy Awards.
