Uber passenger critically injured by hit-run driver
A man has been critically injured while exiting an Uber ride outside his Perth home.
The 22-year-old was dropped off on Solomon Road in Jandakot last night when a passing car clipped him as he exited.
"Upon crossing the road, he has been struck by a motor vehicle, sustaining serious injuries," Detective Senior Constable Andy McDonald told 9News.

As his family rushed out to see what the commotion was, they found the victim left for dead on the roadway as the driver of the car sped off.
Today, investigators assessed the crime scene, which consisted of blood stains and skid marks 20 metres up the road.

"We encourage the driver of the vehicle that hit the young man to come forward as soon as possible," Detective McDonald said.
