Jamie Oliver's son bolts for bathroom in middle of cooking segment

Even celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has to deal the everyday trials of being a parent, after his son interrupted an episode of his YouTube cooking show for an emergency bathroom break.

Oliver’s son, Buddy, and daughter Petal, were appearing in their dad’s Jamie Oliver Food Tube show, as the three cooked a pizza together as a family.

Four minutes into the clip, however, nature called and Buddy couldn’t hold on any longer.

“Dad, I need the toilet,” Buddy says, rushing for the door.

“Oh God, okay,” Oliver says with a laugh.

“That boy is the death of me, he will go to the toilet anywhere.”

As he son ran out the back of the building Oliver laughed exasperatedly.

“If I introduced him to the Queen he’d go ‘Just a minute, ma’am,’ and he’d just take a slash anywhere,” he said, as his son, who could be clearly seen through a window, relieved himself in the garden.

“That’s my life right there,” Oliver said.

“Etiquette would say that I cut that out but I’m leaving that in for all the parents out there, cause you parents are all going, ‘yeah I got one of those too’,” he said with a laugh.

After making sure Buddy had washed his hands the family got on with cooking their pizzas.
