Jacqui Lambie issues Australia Day video message in sequined flag singlet and feather hat

Dressed in a sequined Australian flag singlet, Senator Jacqui Lambie has issued an Australia Day message urging anyone who doesn’t like our “democratic rights” to find another country.

In the short video, the Tasmanian politician implores Australians to pledge an oath of allegiance.

“G’Day! Let’s celebrate our Australia Day with pride and say our oath of allegiance,” she says.

Wearing a feather hat featuring Australian flags plastered across its front, the Senator offers her own version of national commitment.

“From this time forward, under God, I’ll pledge my loyalty to Australia and its peoples”.

She also issues a sweeping directive to those who might oppose the Australian way of life.

“Remember, if you don’t like our democratic rights, liberties and laws, equality for all, including women, gay, and Indigenous people, there are plenty of other countries to choose from.

“Keep safe and have a happy Australia Day”.
