Jacqui Lambie says there is 'not much' difference between the Greens and ISIL

Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie has compared Australian Greens politicians to terror group Islamic State.

Speaking at a mining industry conference in Queenstown, on the west coast of Tasmania, Ms Lambie said there was “not much” difference between the Australian political party and the terrorist organisation, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

“What’s the difference between the Greens and ISIS?” she asked her audience.

“The answer is not very much. They both want to take us back into the dark ages.”

It’s not the first time Ms Lambie has suggested the Greens and ISIL share ideology.

“We could stop driving cars, stop using electricity, and go back to living like people in the middle ages, which is the vision that the Greens – and Islamic State – have for the world,” Ms Lambie said in the Senate recently.
