Italian makes first flight in Aust jet

The first Italian pilot to fly the new Lightning Joint Strike Fighter has taken to the skies at the controls of an Australian jet.
Australia has two of the advanced JSF aircraft but both remain in the international training pool at Luke US Air Force base in the US.
Australia's two qualified JSF pilots both made their first fights aboard US Air Force aircraft.
