A family of three had joined the growing number of Australian citizens who have managed to escape war-torn Gaza through the Rafah crossing.
At least 28 Australians have fled Gaza since the conflict began in October.
A Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade spokesperson said a total of 76 Australians and their families have requested assistance in leaving the Palestinian city.

"Departures depend on a range of factors. The situation in Gaza is highly challenging and rapidly changing," the spokesperson said.
"Australia is doing what we can to support those Australians and their families still in Gaza, including providing the best available information and options for their safety, and communicating through all available channels.
"Australia is supporting international efforts to keep the Rafah border crossing open for humanitarian purposes, including the passage of civilians."

The Rafah crossing was opened under an international agreement to enable foreign nationals to leave the besieged territory.
It comes as thousands of Palestinians flee Gaza on foot after running out of food and water in the north, according to a United Nations spokesperson.
Israel troops continue to battle Hamas militants deep inside Gaza City.
Over 70 per sent of Gaza's population have already fled their homes around its largest city, which has come under heavy Israeli bombardment.
