New inflatable theme park set to take the Gold Coast’s breath away

A fully inflatable theme park featuring some of the world’s steepest climbs and slides has been approved to open on the Gold Coast.

“They are the biggest things in the world … these things are brilliant,” theme park promoter Liam Benson told 9NEWS.

The attractions will include a five-storey tower that links with a slippery slide almost as long as a football field.

“It is an adult’s version of a jumping castle, but this one is spread out over five kilometres,” Mr Benson said.

The Gold Coast Council was the first in Australia give the go-ahead to the blow-up business, which will cater to patrons aged seven years and over.

It will be set up around the Gold Coast Titans stadium at Robina in November.

There are also plans to hold events in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba.

Promoters have not revealed how much entry will cost.
