Indigenous Corp boss questioned on future

Registrar of Indigenous Corporations Anthony Beven has faced an awkward question about his own, apparently uncertain, future during a Senate estimates hearing.

Citing media speculation, Greens senator Rachel Siewert asked Mr Beven if he was finishing up in his role - a question he then directed to Indigenous Affairs Minister Nigel Scullion.

Senator Scullion replied: "This is not the place I let people know if they've got a continuing job or not."
