Huxley's alleged killer to face trial

Morgan Huxley's alleged killer will stand trial for murder.

Daniel Jack Kelsall, 21, waived his right to a committal hearing at Sydney's Central Local Court on Thursday.

The case is set down for a mention on August 8 in the NSW Supreme Court.

Kelsall is accused of stabbing Mr Huxley to death in north Sydney in the early hours of September 8 last year.

The 31-year-old's body was found by his female flatmate in their Neutral Bay unit.

He was wearing only a T-shirt and allegedly suffering from more than a dozen stab wounds.

It is alleged Kelsall had followed Mr Huxley home from The Oaks Hotel with the intention of having sex with him, before killing him.
