Hundreds gather in Melbourne to show solidarity with Paris shooting victims

Hundreds are expected to gather tonight in Melbourne’s Federation Square in solidarity for victims of the Paris shooting.

Members of Melbourne’s French community organised the gathering in an effort to show their support and express their sorrow.

One of the organisers Mieve Siena said she had been shocked by the incident.

“I didn’t have any words to express how I felt,” she said.

“It’s shocking.”
