Remains found near country WA highway believed to be adult male

Human remains found in bushland outside the northeast West Australian town of Kununurra are believed to be those of an adult man, according to police.

Investigators have called for information from anybody who might have seen a man walking along Victoria Highway between April 22 and May 5.

The remains were found in area of bush off the highway on June 17.

Police said the man may have been walking along the roadside, hitchhiking or walking further into bushland.
