As the furor surrounding shark culling's in Western Australia continues to divide the nation, video of a great white shark circling fisherman off Lorne in Victoria has re-emerged after a sighting at the same beach forced a mass evacuation two days ago.

Alan Falzon and James Prascevic uploaded the spine chilling video to YouTube in 2013.

As the men pan out across the calm water, a dark shadow can be seen lurking beneath the clear blue.

"Oh my f---ing God, it's gonna hit the boat," one of the men can be heard saying, before realising that they had come face-to-face with a great white shark.

"There it is mate," one of the men points, "that there is a f---ing great white shark".

The shark continues to circle the boat right near the surface for a good five minutes, with its tell-tale fin poking out of the water.

At one point the shark even nudges the boat, causing the men on board to start panting: "Oh God, Oh God."

Thankfully the men lived to tell their tale.

Just two days ago swimmers at Lorne beach were forced to run for their lives after the shark alarm was sounded following the sighting of a great white shark just metres from the shore.

Hours later, another sighting was recorded. Lifesavers managed to again evacuate all those in the water.

The sightings come as the WA Government ramps up its shark culling policy, after the deaths of seven people in shark attacks across the state over the past three years.
