Young fan's sweet gesture to Aussie star Aaron Mooy

Young football fan Adam Bhana is clearly a well-brought up boy.

Because he knows that you can't keep what isn't yours even when you find it.

So when the Huddersfield Town supporter discovered a £5 note on the ground at the stadium while watching his team, he knew just what to do with it.

Adam decided to send it to Socceroo star Aaron Mooy, who had scored and starred in his team's shock 2-1 victory over Manchester United, as a reward.

And he penned a heart-warming letter to Huddersfield board member Sean Jarvis, who posted a photo of it to his Twitter, where it's melted plenty of hearts.

"Dear Sean," Adam's letter began.

"I was at the Huddersfield against Manchester United match.

"I found a £5 note at the stadium and gave it to dad because we cannot keep what is not ours.

"Can you please ask Mr Wagner [David - the manager] if Aaron Mooy can keep the money because he played very well and scored yesterday.

"I have put the £5  note in the envelope."

It didn’t take long for the note to reach Mooy, with the star, who presumably isn’t short of cash after his megabucks move to Huddersfield in the summer, taking to Twitter saying he'd "love to meet" Adam.

The club has reached out to the young boy so the two can meet at a match later this season.
