Year 12 students' final exams kick off in NSW
It's easy to remember the unique mixture of adrenaline and nerves students experience when taking their final year exams.
That's the reality for about 70,000 NSW Year 12 students beginning their HSC written exams today.
The HSC exam period will run until Friday, November 3.

After the exam period, the HSC student entries will open, which is for "school-based assessment marks for courses studied outside the home school," NSW Education said on their website.
The nervous wait will be over for Year 12s and their families on December 14, when the 2023 HSC results are released.

Other key dates for Year 11s include the grades and Life Skills outcomes to be submitted by October 20.
Year 10 grades and Life Skills outcomes must be submitted by November 17.
