Helicopter crash on WA cattle station

The Air Transport Safety Bureau will investigate a helicopter crash on a cattle station in Western Australia's Kimberley region that left the 41-year-old male pilot with injuries.

The man was flying a Robinson R22 Beta II helicopter to muster cattle on Sunday afternoon when it went into a spin and crashed into the cattle yard.

The pilot was brought to Fitzroy Crossing Hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life threatening.
