Hanson party gets WA green light
AAP
Pauline Hanson's One Nation has been given the green light as a political party in Western Australia ahead of the March state election.
WA electoral commissioner David Kerslake said on Monday he considered two objections to the registration, but rejected them.
The objectors claimed Senator Hanson's party name was too close to an existing incorporated body, One Nation WA, and was likely to cause confusion.

But Mr Kerslake said Pauline Hanson's One Nation was not the name of an existing party and was not close enough to the name One Nation WA that it was likely to be confused with or mistaken for that name.
